Still Drinkin' & Smokin', Rockin' & Rollin': An Oral History of John & Peter’s
 
It’s not the most famous venue in the annals of rock. Lauded and loved by musicians and patrons far and wide, New Hope’s most eclectic spot for live music is more than just a venue. Part watering hole, part town square, part living history, John & Peter’s has stood for five decades and its stage has seen an amazing array of performers, artists, and personalities.  One of the main players at John & Peter's is Mickey Melchiondo from the New Hope band Ween. 
 
As bars and clubs become more and more homogenized, a new generation of owners ensures that John & Peter's will remain the same - and that's a good thing.
