Barry Jones is a proud Welshman.

His family all come from the small village of Penycae, which sparked the idea for his first book.

Barry was born and educated in Wrexham before going to Manchester University. 

He now lives in Bromley, Kent, but maintains strong ties with Wales both as a tenor in the London based Côr Meibion Gwalia (Gwalia male choir) and London Welsh Rugby Club choirs and as a long suffering Wrexham AFC supporter.

His first book, The Lost Sons of Penycae, is out both in hardback and paperback on Earth Island Books.
