Book fairs and gigs

It doesn’t get better than Rebellion Festival, but there are great gigs and friendly little alt-book fairs on all the time.
This weekend just past we were at the John Peel Centre in Stowmarket for the inaugural Foreword Festival and it was great fun!
Set up by Jackie Carreira, ex-bassist of Girlschool, and a bunch of cool people from the area, the events went on for over a week and climaxed with the Friday night poetry gig, where we had two stands and found new homes for a bunch of our punk poetry and alternative fantasy books, and then the big alt-book fair on Saturday where we met loads of new readers whom were really into our authors music books, horror stories and punk graphic novels. On this day we had just one stand, but covered it in books and sold all sorts, all day long.
We’ll be at the Hastings Book Fair next on Saturday 13th September, with a special reading and signing appearance by Charlie Harper, and James Domestic too, both with their new books.
Then we’ll be at the big book fair at The Forum in Norwich on 25th October and the Alternative Halloween market at Patriots Crumlin, near Cardiff, on 26th October.
We’ll also have some of our books on the PM Press stands at London, Manchester and Sheffield alternative book fairs this autumn too.
We love these events and meeting all our readers. Come along and see us.
