Did you watch it yet?

So, it’s out. Alex Boucher’s movie trailer for ‘Three and a Half Minutes of Fame’ is on YouTube now for all to see.

The 90’s indie music documentary film based on his book is officially a thing and well underway now.

Alex says "If you’d asked me five years ago when I was working on a rough unpublished draft of my book, that it would lead me into the world of film-making and music documentaries, I would have spat out my matcha. But here we are, in all our HD glory, with an exhilarating 2 minutes and 30 seconds of 90’s culture and present day music appreciation.”

Alex’s documentary, ‘Three and a Half Minutes of Fame’, looks at what’s changed, and what hasn’t, for musicians trying to make it today. Filmed in London, Essex, and The North, talking to bands, venues, industry experts and fans to show the beating heart of live music in the UK. From the smoky clubs of the 90s to the digital hustle of streaming platforms, it’s about the passion that keeps artists going, even when the odds are against them. His vision is simple: to honour the past, champion the present, and inspire the future of independent music.
