Streetvoice review 'I Heartbreak The Ramones'

david1170

"Damn! This was one long read but well worth it! What you get for your money is one wicked 450 page read of Nick Cooper’s story 'I Heartbreak The Ramones' from how he got into rock n roll right through to playing in the Speedkings with the legendary Marky Ramone!

This is one ride you don’t want to get off as this booked is filled with emotions and in time you begin to understand why Nick Cooper has a love/hate relationship with the Ramones in particular Marky Ramone.

Some may be cynical about Nick’s criticism of Marky Ramone but I’ve met other musicians who’ve shared equally bizarre stories which admittedly did make me laugh. However there’s also stories shared about Marky’s good side so it’s all balanced well in the end which makes this a riveting read from start to finish.

Aside from the stories there’s also lots of gig posters and photos many most will have never seen before.

I don’t really want to share any more about the book as you need to enjoy this book from first hand experience. You don’t need to see any spoilers.

My verdict this is another great rock n roll story that needs to be read!"
