Jet-setting author Alexandros Anesiadis is in Sao Paolo, Brazil right now and will be at the historical SUB records on 1st April to make a presentation about his awesome new HC book, ‘Tear It Down’. He’ll be discussing the book, the bands, and the hardcore scene in general if you want to swing by.
Event starts at 12.30pm in Sub Discos and he has a few goodies to give away.
The opportunity came up at the last minute and so he’s making the most of the opportunity to spread the word and meet HC fans worldwide.

C-YA there (Brazilian) friends!
This South American in-store comes ahead of the official launch event at Generation Records in New York City on 22nd April, where Alex will be reading from and signing the new books. There will be plenty in store, so get along to Generation Records, 210 Thompson Street, New York 10012 on 22nd April to pick up a copy from the man himself.
There are also stockists in the US and you can pick up a copy locally over there from most good alt-records or alt-book stores or from our punk-rock partners DiWulf publishing.
We are also planning events closer to home for Alex, both in London at All Ages in Camden on 10th May, and in Athens at Scarecrow Records and Rhythm Records very soon after.
The books were slightly delayed as we added a few extra images into any gaps in the layout before unleashing the main print run, but now they are all shipping out as fast as possible to all pre-orders and any book or record stores that want to stock ‘Tear It Down: How crossover bridged metal and hardcore punk’. Grab yourself a copy today, here.
