'What if we were water' is a collection of poetry with only one aim; to tackle the trauma that's passed on from previous generations.
It delves into a variety of topics related to mental health, including stigma recovery self-care and how important it is to look after each other.
We are the light and only we can save those from the trauma of troubled waters.
Launching now and officially publishing on 24th July, International Self-Care Day, Ricky Frost's thought-provoking new book 'What if we were water' is a hundred page collection of poems and short stories based around growing up, mental health, love, loss and healing, and how to break negative cycles, that will make you think and give you the strength to help yourself and others through life’s relentless waves.
You can order a first print copy of the book right now and we will send it as soon as we receive them back from the printers.
About The Author:
Ricky Frost is a spoken word artist and mental health poet from Essex. Growing up in a household with substance abuse and ignorance towards mental health issues, he found solace in writing and used it as a tool for self-expression and reflection.
He is also a mentor for Lads Need Dads, helping boys aged 11-15 with absent fathers to develop life skills and emotional expression. Through poetry and volunteer work, he wishes to inspire others to seek help, speak out, and find healing and hope in their own lives.
