Ramones book signing at Best Video

On 30th June from 7pm at the Best Video and Cultural Centre in Hamden, CT there will be a screening of ‘Rock n Roll High School’ (A 1979 film in which the fanatic and delinquent Riff Randell battles it out with the strict new principal of Vince Lombardi High School, Miss Togar, with a little help from the Ramones!) with Jenn L Beckwith, the author of the brilliant new Ramones book, ‘All Good Cretins Go To Heaven: The Enduring Legacy of The Ramones’ there to sign copies, answer questions and talk all about the book and the band.

Best video is a gathering and performance place, with a video archive, coffee bar, and much more. Get along if you can, and definitely pick up one of Jenn’s books if you don’t already have one.

All Good Cretins Go To Heaven: The Enduring Spirit of the Ramones is a 282-page fan retrospective celebrating the 50th anniversary of the band's legendary debut album. Written by Jenn L. Beckwith, the book acts as an open love letter, featuring fan-submitted stories, photos, and interviews with those closest to the band.

The book explores the history of the band, biographies of the members, and the cultural impact of punk rock. Rather than an authorised, objective biography, it compiles moving testimonies, gig memories, and artwork.
