A great new book about The Enduring Spirit Of The Ramones

We’ve been working with Jenn Beckwith for a while on a great new book about The Ramones, but looking at the band from the fans perspective.

With great help from Gary Clevenger on background research and Amy Wuelfing (of DiWulf publishing) on design and layout, the new book, entitled ‘All Good Cretins Go To Heaven: The Enduring Spirit Of The Ramones’ should be out in time for the fiftieth anniversary of The Ramones debut album.

We wanted to announce this soon and will be setting up a pre-order for the book in the next weeks. Conversation has been going on amongst Ramones fans and around the scene, and now the first official announcement about the book has been made, by the big Ramones fan-site Ramones Heaven. This is what they had to say…

Jennifer (Jenn) L. Beckwith and Gary Lynn Clevenger have worked for many years with the Ramones book that will be published around the day when comes the 50th anniversary of the release day (April 23, 1976) of the Ramones debut album. Jennifer is a writer and Gary a collaborator and researcher of the material. The book titled ‘All Good Cretins Go To Heaven: The Enduring Spirit Of The Ramones’ is being published by Earth Island Books in April 2026.The book tells the history of the Ramones. I have read part of the manuscript and the book also brings a lot of information you can't find from other Ramones releases.

In the foreword Jennifer speaks for example of the interview she did with Allan Arkush who is the director of the "Ramones movie" Rock 'N' Roll High School.
