Book stalls and spoken word - Foreword festival

Just looking at the excellent line-up for the Foreword Festival. The first evening alone with James Domestic, Any Wragg, Sam Marsh and Lorna MacKinnon supporting Mark Grist is well worth your attention, let alone the (free) Saturday (16/8) book fair event.

The Friday (15/8) night Performance Poetry event will be at the John Peel Centre, Church Walk, Stowmarket, Suffolk, IP14 1ET with doors opening at 7pm and tickets just £8.

There will be plenty of time for book browsing, talking with authors and publishers, and grabbing a beer or two.

Running times for the night are as follows:

6pm: (artists soundcheck)

7pm: Doors open. Time for book stalls and refreshments

7:30: First half intro from AJ Deane (5 mins)

7:35: Lorna Mackinnon (12 mins)

7:47: Sam Marsh (13 mins inc. AJ intro)

8:00: Amy Wragg (13 mins inc. AJ intro)

8:13 - 8:45: Book stalls and refreshments

8:45: AJ Deane second half intro (3 mins)

8:48: James Domestic (17 mins)

9:05: Mark Grist (40 mins inc. AJ intro)

9:45 - 10:30: Book stalls and refreshments (bar last orders at 10pm)

10:30 - 11:00: Pack up and go.
