James Domestic gigs

After a manic '3 gigs in 24 hours' run of gigs over the recent Easter weekend – Nottingham, Manchester, and Stamford to be precise – James Domestic has a few more busy weeks lined up!

On Friday 19th he opens a gig in Ipswich for Antigen Records artists, Earth Motherfucker, and eighties post-punkers, 13th Chime with a spoken word set.  On the Saturday his band, The Domestics, play Nottingham alongside some UK Hardcore scene legends, including FUK, and The Stupids.  The following week, on Wednesday 24th he returns to the always sold out Patch Café in Colchester on a five poet bill.

At the beginning of May, The Domestics head out to The Basque Country for four dates with locals, Build Me A Bomb, and James returns just in time for two spoken word appearances – one with the well-respected (and frequent collaborator with John Cooper Clarke), Luke Wright at Sudbury Arts Centre, and then on the Sunday afternoon Word Habit event at The Brewery Tap, also in Sudbury.

James’ whole set at Manchester Punk Festival was filmed by the excellent MPRV News, and will see the light of day over the coming weeks.
