James Domestic has added a spoken word gig in Colchester to his ever expanding list of upcoming appearances. His spoken word set includes pieces from the 'Cruor' and 'Domesticated Vol.1' books and a few brand new bits too. Get down early if you fancy something a bit different.

“Our next night on Friday 9 June at Coda Colchester with RAD PITT, Casual Nausea and Sid now has added James Dom Estic!

If you don't know James, he's frontman of East Anglian Hardcore outfit, The Domestics.

Before the bands kick off, he will be reading excerpts from his latest book, 'Domesticated Vol.1' and his previous co-authored book (with Dave Cullern from Haest), 'Cruor'.

Already gaining comparisons with John Cooper Clarke, Ivor Cutler, Spike Milligan, and Benjamin Zephaniah. You'll laugh, think, and possibly scratch your head in disbelief.

Get down early to make sure you don't miss it!”

James is also appearing on the new PULSEBEAT RADIO SHOW where you can hear mehim reading 'Naples Kisses' from his new book, alongside top tunes by Alton Ellis, Knife Club, GIRLS IN SYNTHESIS, The Damned, PJ Harvey, and many more!

And you can still listen to him reading 'The Facilities at Alicante Airport' from his new book, 'Domesticated Vol.1' in the great episode of Neil Crud on Louder Than War Radio here: https://www.mixcloud.com/louderthanwar/neil-crud-on-louder-than-war-radio-080523/
